About this template

Crumb is a soft, hand-made website for Bramble & Rye, a fictional neighbourhood bakery and café in Norwich. It has a live “fresh out of the oven” board driven by the bake schedule, a preorder catalogue with per-day availability and quantity limits, a basket drawer with collection day, time slot and an order cut-off, a demo checkout that gives an order number and a calendar file, a celebration cake builder with a live drawing and price, and a café menu with diet filters. Every bake is drawn in SVG from one JavaScript array.

    Fixed

    • The basket now works when the browser blocks localStorage (in a sandboxed iframe, like the freeframe.dev demo, or with strict privacy settings): the state is kept in memory for the page view. Before, adding a bake left the basket empty and the order confirmation blank.
