Terms and refunds

The short version: you pay once, you keep downloading what you bought, and if it isn't right for you, you get your money back within 14 days.

Your account

Downloading a template, free or paid, needs a free account with a confirmed email address, so your downloads and purchases stay with you. Free downloads have fair-use limits per hour and per day to stop automated scraping; what you've bought is never limited. Please keep your sign-in details to yourself.

Buying

  • Prices are in US dollars and one-time: no subscription, nothing renews. Sales tax or VAT, where it applies, is included in the price you see.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. You get a receipt by email.
  • A template purchase covers what its page says: the whole template, or its Next.js, Astro and WordPress versions when the HTML version is free. All-access covers every paid template and every paid version, including ones added later.
  • Download what you bought as often as you like, from the template page or your purchases, including future updates, at no extra cost.
  • Paid downloads come with the commercial license, made out to your account. Free downloads are MIT licensed.

Refunds

  • Within 14 days of buying, for any reason: ask for a refund and you get the full amount back, tax included. Contact us with the topic “Purchase or refund”, from the email address on your account.
  • Bought the same thing twice, or a template you already had through All-access? We refund the extra payment whenever you tell us.
  • After 14 days, if a template doesn't work as its page and docs describe and we can't fix it, we refund it.
  • Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with, through Stripe. Most arrive within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
  • A refund ends the commercial license for further use, as the license explains: sites you already published with the template can stay up. If you open a chargeback with your bank instead of asking us, access ends the same way; please ask us first, it's quicker for you.

In the EU and the UK you have a 14-day right to cancel digital purchases. This policy gives you the same 14 days, whether or not you've downloaded the template.

If you delete your account

Deleting your account signs you out and removes your profile, favorites and votes. We keep the record of what you bought, as tax rules require, so if you sign up again with the same email address, contact us and we'll move your purchases to the new account.

Changes and questions

We may update these terms; the version on this page applies to new purchases, and a purchase keeps the terms it was made under. Questions about anything here? Get in touch. See also the license and privacy pages.
