§ Good to know
Questions people ask before their first appointment.
Before your appointment
Wear clothes you can move in and that let us see the area: shorts for knees and hips, a vest top for shoulders. Bring a list of any medicines and, if you’re claiming on insurance, your authorisation number.
- How many sessions?
- It depends on the problem. Many people need three to six; some just one. We’ll tell you honestly at your first visit and never sign you up to more than you need.
- Will it hurt?
- Some treatments can feel uncomfortable, and you may ache for a day after. We check with you throughout and adjust anything you’re not happy with.
- Chaperones
- You’re welcome to bring someone with you to any appointment, or ask for a chaperone from our team.
- Results
- Everyone recovers differently, so we can’t promise a result. We set goals together, measure progress and change the plan if it isn’t working.
