Features
Made for the hour before bed, and the minute you wake.
Four simple tools that work together: sounds to settle, a routine to slow down, an alarm that’s kind in the morning and a diary to notice what helps.

Sleep sounds
Sixty-four sounds, tuned for the dark.
Every sound loops without a click or a gap, so nothing jolts you awake. Mix up to three, give each its own volume and save the mix for tomorrow.
- Sleep timer from 10 minutes to all night, with a slow fade-out
- Rain, water, wind, fans, coloured noise and low drones
- Download sounds to play offline

An alarm that waits for a lighter moment.
Set the latest time you want to be up and a wake window of 10, 20 or 30 minutes. With your phone on the bedside table, Nightjar listens for movement and starts a gentle sound when you seem to be stirring. If it doesn’t notice anything, it rings at your set time.
- Never later than the time you choose
- A slow sunrise glow on screen before the sound starts
- Microphone audio is analysed on the phone and never recorded or uploaded
Starts 22:20 · lights out 22:45
Wind-down
A routine you’ll actually look forward to.
Pick a handful of small, calming steps and Nightjar walks you through them, starting at the right time to reach lights out when you planned. Try building one below.
- Reminder when it’s time to start
- Guided breathing with a glowing pacer
- Skip a step any night without breaking anything

Sleep diary
Ten seconds each morning.
Tap how you feel, add a note about yesterday and carry on with your day. Over a few weeks, simple patterns appear: maybe you sleep better after an evening walk, or worse after a late coffee.
- Notes and moods, not scores
- Export a PDF to share with a health professional
- Stays on your phone unless you choose to back it up
