License
What you can do with free Freeframe templates under the MIT License, and how premium templates are licensed.
Every free Freeframe template, including its code and artwork, is released under the
MIT License. The full text is in LICENSE.txt in every download and on
the license page.
Premium templates, marked Premium on the site, are sold under the Freeframe Commercial License instead.
Buyers find its full text in LICENSE.txt in their download and on the license page.
The points below describe the free templates.
You can#
- Use templates for personal and commercial websites.
- Build client websites with them and charge for your work.
- Change, combine and rename them however you like.
- Use them without crediting Freeframe on your site.
Please#
- Keep
LICENSE.txtif you redistribute the template source code itself. - Replace the fictional brands, people, prices and contact details before publishing.
- Don't resell the templates unchanged as your own template pack.
The last point is a request, not a legal condition; for free templates the MIT License is the only binding text.
Fonts and third-party code#
Fonts load from Google Fonts or are self-hosted under the SIL Open Font License, which allows commercial use.
The Next.js versions depend on open-source packages with their own licenses (mostly MIT), listed in each
project's package.json.
