Questions
Things people often ask us
Can’t find your answer? Call (208) 555-0147 or send us a message.
Does it hurt?
Most treatment doesn’t. We use numbing gel before every injection and give the anesthetic time to work before we start. If you feel anything, raise your hand and we stop.
Nervous? Tell us when you book and we’ll plan extra time, breaks and comfort options.
How often should I have a checkup?
Most adults and children do well with a checkup and clean every six months. Some people need them more often, for example with gum problems. Your dentist will recommend what suits you.
Are your prices fixed?
The prices on this site are starting prices for straightforward cases. You’ll always get a written estimate before any treatment, and nothing is added without asking you first.
Do you take my insurance?
We’re in network with many PPO plans and will file claims for you. Send us your plan details before your visit and we’ll check your benefits so you know what to expect. Insurance and payment.
Is whitening safe for my teeth?
Professional whitening is a common, well-established treatment when it’s supervised by a dentist. Some people notice temporary sensitivity. We’ll check your teeth first, because whitening doesn’t change the color of fillings or crowns.
Am I too old for clear aligners?
There’s no upper age limit. What matters is healthy teeth and gums. At a free consult we’ll scan your teeth and tell you honestly whether aligners are a good fit.
When should my child first see a dentist?
Around their first tooth or first birthday, whichever comes first. Early visits are short and playful and help children feel at home. The first visit for under-threes is free.
What counts as a dental emergency?
Severe pain, swelling, a knocked-out adult tooth, or bleeding that won’t stop all need prompt care. Our symptom guide can help you decide what to do next.
