About us

We’re building the calmest part of a busy shift.

Orbit started in 2021 at a café table in Ancoats, when Siobhan spent her third Sunday night in a row fixing a rota spreadsheet and Rui said “I can build you something better”. Five years later, 4,200 venues schedule with it.

How we work

Respect the shift

Our users are on their feet all day. Every screen has to work in ten seconds, one-handed, with flour on it.

Fair by default

Schedules shape people’s lives. Orbit nudges toward fair hours, enough notice and real breaks.

Friendly, not fluffy

We write like a good shift lead talks: clear, kind and to the point.

Calm growth

Profitable since 2024. We grow at the pace our customers and our team can enjoy.

Team

Half of us have worked a Saturday close.

We hire people who have done the job our customers do. It shows in the product.
