Bring the whole flock with you

Racing pigeons travel out in a basket and find their own way home. Your list needs slightly more help. Tell us where it lives now, and we'll work out the move.

Hosted platforms hand over clean exports. Your archive is the part people forget, so it's first.

1. Export your past issues15 minDownload your back catalog as HTML or a zip so old links keep working on your new archive page.
2. Export your subscribers10 minDownload a full CSV, including unsubscribes and bounces, so nobody who left comes back by accident.
3. Clean the list25 minDrop duplicates and role addresses, and set aside anyone who hasn't opened in a year for a re-permission send.
4. Connect your sending domain20 minAdd three DNS records. Homing Check confirms SPF, DKIM and DMARC as soon as they resolve.
5. Run the import20 minMap your columns once, check the preview, then let it run. You can close the tab while it works.
6. Rebuild your automations as Flightpaths45 minStart from the welcome, cart and win-back templates, then paste in your own words.
7. Swap your signup forms15 minReplace the old embed with a Loftwing form, or point your old form's address at your new list.
8. Start the warm-up schedule5 minLoftwing sends to your most engaged readers first and widens the circle each day. There's nothing to do but send as usual.

Unsubscribes stay unsubscribed

The importer never brings back someone who left, even if they appear twice in your file.

Old links keep working

Your archive moves to a clean page on your own domain, and your old issue addresses can redirect to it.
