Questions

Before you ask

How far ahead should we book?

For full planning, twelve to eighteen months. Spring and fall Saturdays in Charleston book first, often more than a year ahead. Partial planning and day-of coordination can start much later, if your date is still open with us.

Do you take a commission from vendors?

No. Our fee is our only income from your event. Any discount a vendor offers goes to you.

How do payments work?

A 30% retainer holds your date. The balance is split into two payments, the last one due thirty days before the event.

Do you travel outside Charleston?

Within about two hours (Beaufort, Kiawah, Pawleys Island, Savannah) there’s no travel fee. Further afield, we add travel and lodging at cost.

What if it rains?

Every package includes a written rain plan, agreed with the venue in advance, and a decision time (usually 48 hours out) so nobody is guessing on the morning. Read how we plan for weather.
