First Saturday of every month

Kiln-opening Saturday

Next: Saturday 7 November

We open at 9am instead of 10, unpack the week’s firing in front of you and put out the seconds shelf: pieces with a glaze run or a wobbly foot, a third off. There’s tea, and usually cake.

    A little less perfect

There’s a person in every piece.

The curve of a thumb. A pool of glaze in a throwing line. The slight lean of a rim. We keep the small marks that tell you something was made rather than manufactured, and we mix our five glazes ourselves, from scratch, in the back room.
