For teams, families and anyone sharing a vault

A shared vault needs a shared plan.

Choose how many signers you have, how many must agree, and where every key lives. The planner shows what you could lose, what a thief would need, and what one bad day at one place would do.

Plan your keys

Your plan is kept in this browser so you can come back to it. Use roles, not anything secret.

        How to read the numbers

        Keys − threshold

        How many you can lose

With three keys and a threshold of two, one key can be lost, broken or forgotten and the vault still opens. With two of two, none can.

        Threshold − 1

How many a thief can take

A thief needs as many keys as you do. With a threshold of three, two stolen keys are still useless, as long as you notice and move funds.

        Places and people

        Why location matters

Two keys in one safe count as one place. A fire there is two losses, and a break-in is two thefts. Spread keys across buildings and people.

        Team vault engagements

        Roles before devices.

Most team losses we see are not hacks. They are a signer who left, a policy nobody wrote down, or an urgent message that skipped a step. We start there.

          Policy workshop

Agree signers, backups for each role, a threshold, and the checks above your withdrawal limit.

        2. 02

          Key ceremony on site

Every signer creates their key in the same room, with devices from two makers.

        3. 03

          Tabletop drills

We walk through a lost device, an unavailable signer and a convincing fake request, without moving funds.

        4. 04

          Quarterly check-ins

People, locations and backups confirmed while changes are still easy to make.
