About this template

Gather is a complete site for Riverbend Church, a fictional non-denominational church in Lawrence, Kansas. It counts down to the next service in the church's own time zone and switches to "Watch live" during services, plays sermons in an accessible audio player with notes and discussion questions, filters the sermon archive by series, speaker and book, shows events in a month calendar or list with .ics downloads, and helps visitors plan their first Sunday, find a small group, send a prayer request or give. Every illustration, portrait and series cover is SVG.

    Fixed

    • Sermon listening progress now works when the browser blocks localStorage (in a sandboxed iframe, like the freeframe.dev demo, or with strict privacy settings): the state is kept in memory for the page view. Before, progress on the sermon cards was lost as soon as the list was filtered.
