About this template

Brief is a complete website for Pennington Employment Law, the fictional Southampton practice of independent employment solicitor Tessa Pennington. It pairs Literata and Albert Sans with a paper, forest-ink and highlighter palette and SVG illustrations, and includes services filterable by area, a fee estimator with VAT, employer contributions and payment plans, a branching "what are my options?" check with a tribunal deadline calculator, searchable guides with a long-form article, and a four-step consultation booking flow with conflict-check fields and a .ics download.

Features

  • Fee estimator: matter and complexity give a fixed fee or a range, with a VAT toggle, an employer-contribution deduction, an interest-free payment plan and shareable ?matter= URLs
  • Branching "what are my options?" check with 15 plain-English results, a recommended fixed-fee service and a recap of your answers, saved in localStorage
  • Employment tribunal deadline calculator (three months less one day, or six months) with days remaining and urgent and late warnings
  • Four-step booking flow: call type, keyboard-accessible calendar with UK-time slots and the visitor's local time, conflict-check details, confirmation and a .ics calendar hold
  • Services filterable by area with live counts, what's included, timelines, fees and shareable ?area= URLs
  • Searchable guide library with topic filters, an empty state and ?tag= and ?q= URLs
  • Long-form article with a reading progress bar and a table of contents that follows your scroll
