Get involved

Mosaic runs on people like you

Eighty-six volunteers, six hundred and forty Friends and a lot of tutors who started as students. Give an hour, share a skill or put your work on our walls.

Volunteering

Six ways to lend a hand

Every volunteer gets an induction, a named contact, travel expenses and free tea. Give as much or as little time as suits you.

Start with a cup of tea

Tell us a little about yourself and Wilf Askew, our volunteer coordinator, will invite you in for a chat and a look round. There’s no application form and no commitment until you’ve tried it.

Under 16? Our Young Ambassadors meet on the first Saturday of the month. Ask a grown-up to get in touch.

Prefer to talk? 01632 960731 or volunteer@mosaic.example

When could you help?

Friends of Mosaic

Keep the doors open, and the prices low

Ticket sales and room hire cover about two thirds of what it costs to run Mosaic. Friends cover most of the rest, and fund the supported places on every class.

Bring us your idea

Teach a class

We pay tutors a fair session fee, provide the materials and help with the planning. Tell us what you’d teach and who it’s for.

Show your work

The Foyer Gallery is chosen a year ahead by a panel of members and staff. Proposals open every January; anyone can enter the Mosaic Open.
