Company
Built for the awkward bit after “yes”.
Latchline started in 2021, above a bike shop on the Truckee River, when two people who had run hundreds of software rollouts got tired of tracking them in spreadsheets. Today we're 34 people, most of us in Reno, and we still onboard every customer ourselves.
How we work
Specific enough to use. Flexible enough to last.
-
01
Name the real constraint
Most onboarding problems are a missing owner or a vague goal. We look for those first, before we sell anyone a feature.
-
02
Write for the customer
Every task description, reminder and portal page is read by someone who didn't ask for another tool. We write for them.
-
03
Measure the outcome
Time to first value is the number we report to our own board, and the one we ask customers to hold us to.
-
04
Leave a clear next move
No meeting, support reply or release note ends without saying who does what next. It's a habit, and it's catching.
The team
Product people who stayed for implementation.
