The day
What's the dress code?
Garden formal: suits without ties are fine, summery dresses and colours very welcome. The ceremony is on the lawn, so block heels or flats will save your ankles.
What time should I arrive?
Please be seated in the walled garden by 2:40pm. The ceremony starts at 3pm sharp (Theo's grandmother insists).
What if it rains?
We have a plan: the ceremony moves into the Orangery, drinks into the Long Barn, and umbrellas will be waiting by the door.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We're having an unplugged ceremony, so please keep phones away until we've walked back down the aisle. Snap away at everything after that and share with #AmaraAndTheoSayIDo.
Guests
Are children invited?
We love your little ones. Children named on your invitation are very welcome; there's a quiet room and a children's entertainer during dinner.
Can I bring a plus-one?
If your invitation includes a guest, you'll see the option when you RSVP. Our numbers are limited by the barn, so we can't add extra guests otherwise.
I have a dietary requirement. What should I do?
Tell us when you RSVP. The kitchen can cater for allergies and most diets, and everything on the menu is clearly labelled on the day.
Travel & stay
Is there parking?
Yes, free parking in the paddock beside the house. You're welcome to leave your car overnight and collect it by 2pm on Sunday.
Will there be transport back to the hotels?
A shuttle runs between the house, the Swan Inn and Westbury Vale station from 10:30pm until 1am. Taxis book up quickly, so reserve in advance.
Where should I stay?
We’ve held rooms at three places nearby. Details and booking codes are on the travel page; most blocks are released on 1 March 2027.
Gifts
Do we need to bring a gift?
Your company is honestly the gift. If you'd like to give something, there's a small registry and a honeymoon fund on the registry page.
Can I bring a card on the day?
Of course. There will be a post box by the guest book in the Long Barn.
