Common questions
Can’t find your question? Ask us directly.
Do you represent employees as well as employers?
Our employment practice represents employers. If you are an employee, we are happy to refer you to lawyers who represent individuals in workplace matters.
How are employment matters billed?
Advisory work is usually billed hourly or on a fixed fee for defined projects such as a handbook update. Litigation is billed hourly with a written budget agreed at the start.
Can you help with employees in other states?
Yes. We advise on employees across the United States, working with trusted local counsel where a state’s law requires it.
How quickly can you start an investigation?
For urgent complaints we can usually begin interviews within two business days of being engaged.
