Group cohort · new managers

First 90 Days: lead with others who get it.

Eight weekly sessions with seven other new managers from different companies. Short teaching, lots of practice, and a group you’ll keep calling long after week eight.

  1. Weeks 1–2

    From doer to leader

Your new job description, and the first one-to-ones that set the tone.

  2. Weeks 3–4

    Delegation and trust

The delegation ladder, and how to hand off without hovering.

  3. Weeks 5–6

    Feedback both ways

Clear, kind feedback, practised live with peers until it feels normal.

  4. Weeks 7–8

    Managing up and out

Your manager, your peers, and a 90-day plan you present to the group.

FAQ

Questions people ask before they start

Something else on your mind? Send me a note and I’ll answer within a working day.

Yes, and about two thirds of my clients’ coaching is paid by their company. I can invoice your employer directly, sign a simple supplier agreement and send a short outline you can share with your manager or HR.

Completely, even when your company pays. Sponsors get attendance and, if you agree, a short summary of goals that you write. I never share what you say in a session.

Coaching is about your work and the next six months: specific goals, skills and experiments. Mentoring gives you someone’s advice; coaching helps you find and test your own answers. If something comes up that needs a therapist, I’ll say so and help you find one.

Move it as often as you need with 24 hours’ notice, using the link in your calendar invite. Programs can also pause for up to a month for holidays or busy launches.

If you decide after your first full session that it isn’t right, I’ll refund everything except that session. Cohort seats can be transferred to a colleague or a later cohort up to a week before the start.

Most clients are elsewhere in the US, Canada and Europe, and we meet on video. Session times run from 9am to 7pm Eastern, so there’s usually an overlap that works.

Twenty minutes on video. You tell me what’s going on, I ask a few questions, and we decide together whether coaching would help. No pitch and no pressure. Pick a time here.
