About Bloom

A slower kind of salon

Bloom opened in 2016 with three chairs and a simple idea: give every client enough time, and use products we'd be happy to use at home.

Our story

Inès Moreau came home to Bristol after ten years in Paris salons, tired of 30-minute cuts and back-to-back colour. She found a former florist's shop on Orchard Lane, kept the arched windows and the name, and built the salon she always wanted to work in.

Today Bloom is a team of six, but the principles haven't changed: proper consultations, appointments with breathing room, and a team that's paid for skill rather than speed.

What we care about

Time

Every appointment includes a consultation and a buffer, so nobody is rushed out of the chair.

Kind products

Low-ammonia colour, vegan nail polishes and plant-based skincare. Refill stations for everything we sell.

Fair work

Salaried team, paid training every month and a four-day week. Happy stylists do better work.
