Accessibility
A palace for everyone
A 1931 building wasn’t built with everyone in mind, so we’ve spent fifteen years fixing that. If something stops you from coming, call our access line on (406) 555-0127 and we’ll sort it out.
Step-free entry
From Pine Street to the back of the auditorium, the lobby, the concession stand and an accessible restroom. Only the Mezzanine Lounge (with a stair lift) and the projection booth are up stairs.
Wheelchair spaces
Four spaces in row M with companion seats beside them, bookable online or by phone. Companions of wheelchair users go free.
Captions and audio description
Open-captioned screenings every week, marked CC. Audio-description headsets work at every screening of films that offer it, and at AD screenings we check them in person.
Hearing loop
A hearing loop covers rows E to L. Assistive-listening headsets are free from the box office for anyone without a T-coil.
Sensory-friendly screenings
Lights low rather than off, volume down, no trailers, and nobody minds if you talk, move or step out. A quiet room is open off the lobby.
Parent & baby
Wednesday afternoon screenings for grown-ups with babies under one, with changing tables, stroller parking and the lights dimmed, not dark.
The concession stand
Popcorn popped every hour
Coconut oil, real butter on request and free refills on a large. Everything else is from Montana where we can manage it.
V vegetarian · VG vegan · GF gluten-free. Ask at the stand about allergens; our popcorn shares a kitchen with nuts.
Good to know
Can I bring a drink into the auditorium?
Anything from our stand, yes, including beer for over-21s with ID. We ask you not to bring outside food: the stand pays for the projectionist.
Are children allowed at R-rated films?
Under-17s need a parent or guardian with them, and we may ask for ID. The Late Show Society is 18 and over.
What if I’m late?
Showtimes include about ten minutes of trailers. Held seats are released 10 minutes before the film starts, so call us if you’re running behind.
Can I get a refund?
Exchange or refund any ticket up to an hour before the show, at the box office or by phone. Cancel held seats online any time from the tickets page.
