05 / Take part
You don’t need
to know your lines.
There are many ways to be part of a theatre. Try something new, share what you know, or help make a good evening happen for somebody else.
Start somewhere
Small groups. Plenty of possibility.
Workshops are friendly, practical and open to beginners unless the listing says otherwise. Sessions are for adults aged 18 and over.
Behind the scenes
An evening runs
on good people.
Volunteer stewards welcome audiences, check tickets and help people find their seats. A shift starts an hour before curtain-up and includes an introduction with an experienced team member.
- One or two evenings a month, agreed around your availability.
- Training, access support and reasonable travel expenses.
- No previous theatre experience needed.
Bring an idea
A first conversation,
not a perfect pitch.
We hear from artists, local groups and people with an idea that might fit our rooms. Tell us what you want to explore, who it is for and what kind of support would help.
Our main room seats 120 and the studio seats 40. We cannot offer overnight accommodation or guarantee a programmed date.
