Take your time.
The best way to understand an old piece is to stand in front of it. Wander the yard, check a measurement and ask as many questions as you need.
The old goods yard
Haugh Lane, Hexham
Northumberland
Wednesday–Saturday · 10am–5pm
Sunday–Tuesday · by prior arrangement
Make a proper visit.
The gravel yard has uneven surfaces and a level entrance to the covered store. Tell us about any access needs before you set off; we can bring smaller pieces to the front table.
Coming by car
Customer parking is just inside the yard gate. Keep the loading bay clear unless we have arranged a collection.
Collecting a piece
Bring blankets, straps and a vehicle with a flat load space. We will agree a safe loading plan before collection.
The next opening days
Closed on bank holidays and from Christmas Eve to 2 January. Visits outside these hours need prior agreement.
The journey home
Big things need
a little planning.
Our guide price covers one ground-floor stop with clear access. Stone, steps, narrow entrances and long carries need a separate plan. We deliver within mainland Great Britain by arrangement.
- Collection from Hexham is free.
- NE postcodes start at £35; nearby northern areas at £65.
- Other mainland areas start at £110. Weight adds to the guide price.
Ask a question.
A lot number, a photograph and a few measurements help us give you a useful answer. Offering pieces to the yard? Tell us what they are, roughly how big, and where they are now.
